The AWG model WAW – 4012 has 5 filters which need changing at different times. The machine will let you know via the led displays on the front panel. They are numbered 1 to 4 and also there is the UV light display.

The led filter display will turn orange which indicates 4 weeks before it needs changing and then it will turn red when the filter needs changing. The filter lights 1 and 2 will come on after 6 months however only the filter number 1 which is the sediment filter needs changing. The filter number 2 lasts for 12 months so when you change filter number 1 you reset both the filter lights (Refer to user manual) and then change them both at 12 months.

Filter 1 Sediment filter Every 6 months

Filter 2 Pre Cabon Every 12 months
Filter 3 UF Filter Every 18 months

Filter 4 Post carbon Every 12 months

UV Filter Every 2 years

The cost to maintain all of the filters works out at approximately 880.00 AUS per year or about 12c per litre.
